Detective Conanpermalink
Both are about young dectives who solve many different cases. While Conan is looking for the people who shrunk him, the Kids in Tantei Gakuen Q are working for a goal and to defeat Pluto.. a great series if you like detective shows.
When it comes to the mystery genre for Anime and Manga, both series are well known and could be considered classics for their own reasons. Both series feature high school detectives too.
The main characters have super intelligent for solving crimes
both anime are detective series. they have many interest part and some similiar story cases. both main character are also teenager detective. and there are many similiar thing on these anime. during I have watching many anime. these are the best anime of detective series. for you guys who like detective series. I really recommend you to watch them. ^^
Both are about detectives solving all kinds of cases.
They're basically both detective shows. Also, the protagonists are both teenager..well, Shinichi and Conan are the same person so Conan really is a teenager. Both has a touch of comedy and dark cases. I can't really say which is better, because in my opinion both are pretty good.
Same mystery genre. However, mysteries are solved by a team of gifted middle schoolers. Also, the cases here are much more realistic than Detective Conan.
Both shows are about solving cases and having an organization as antagonists
Detective Conan and Tantei Gakuen Q are very similar. They are both mystery, and focus on a very smart, young detective who solve cases. They both have someone who is very good at fighting. Also they both have 'master of disguises'. They both have organizations looking for them. While Conan is solving cases to find information about the Black Organization, Tantei Gakuen Q are working to ambush Pluto!
'Why?' You ask? Detective School Q really have a strong mystery included, same thing like in Detective Conan. I have both Anime and Manga series. It's very great to watch. And I recommend it.
Those two are similar.. I think lol, here's their similarity: - Both mystery - Both stories with both detectives - Both main characters are really smart when comes to case solving - Both involves school in a way The main difference between both shows is that Detective Conan is about a high school student who is really good in soccer(Football for some) and case solving, but one day gets 'kidnapped' I can say by a criminal and gets tested with a certain drug which makes him younger and tries to find that criminal in that young form with his grade school friends, Tantei Gakuen Q is about a boy who gets accepted in a high class detective school, but instead of getting into class ranks (A for highest, D for lowest) he got into a special class which never happened before called 'Q'.
They both have great mysteries and both have great feels on how crime should be solved. Both have children has detectives.
Ghost Huntpermalink
Ghost Hunt is about supernatural investigations. Tantei Gakuen Q is also about investigations, it may not be supernatural, or have good animation (old) but if you like good detectives stories, then watch this 2 animes.
Both are mystery orientated anime, and both involve rather big groups to help in the cases (unlike Conan or Kindachi). Though Ghost hunt is more on the supernatural and Detective School Q is mainly about closed room murders, enjoying one will lead to enjoying the other, if your heart can stand Ghost Hunt, that is.
Crime, investigations, suspense, a group of people that stick together in 'fishy' situations..Yup, these are just some of the similarities. Even though Ghost Hunt is more on SF part, they still have the detective touch as a similarity. So go ahead, watch them both, a get that detective spirit going!
Both gives a creepy scary feeling when trying to solve a case, especially an eerie case. Both shows takes you on a journey on how the case is solved. However, ghost hunt is about solving cases due to the supernatural, and detective academy Q is total logic.
A mystery, drama and comedy anime with a smart and renowned male protagonist who set up a team of detectives/psychics each with their own abilities to solve cases. Each episodes are intriguing and entertaining.
Spiral: Suiri no Kizunapermalink
They are both detective anime, but the mysteries in detective academy Q are more solvable and intriguing whereas the problems in spiral are more on the unreasonably difficult side.
report Recommended by staypee
Spiral and Tantei Gauken Q both deal with mystery sindicates that they are out to stop. There is also a rather dark mood to both shows, though Spiral is probabbly the darkest of the two.
lot's of mysteries, although Spiral is definitely darker one, and more dangerous for participants.. Still, breathtaking mysteries, and danger, and also tricks, you can find it in both, though Tantei is by far more cheerful.
If you're keen on checking out some detective fiction, then these two series should definitely be considered. Both series features the theme of mystery and thus involves detectives. The main characters plays the role of the detectives in this case. Both series takes place at a school life setting although some of the cases involves stepping out of the field. Both series' main female protagonist has similar personalities in that they are curious but also intelligent and helpful girls who wants to be useful to the cases. Both series has drama, comedy, mystery, and action occasionally when the needs arises.
Hyoukapermalink
Both series have high school detectives. They also have school settings.
both of them are around mysteries , they both differ at the base source , manga and an light novel and has the difference . But for an mystery fan this would be the most awesome anime of this year
Mystery, mystery, and mystery. These two series revolves around detective fiction and with a group of friends at school. There is drama, comedy, and suspense. If you're looking for some brain twisters and plot thrillers, then these two series are something to keep an eye on.
Trickster: Edogawa Ranpo 'Shounen Tanteidan' yoripermalink
-Both anime are mystery and crime centered -Both anime follows the actions of teen detectives -Both protagonists have a knack for mysteries
Tantei Opera Milky Holmespermalink
If you're looking for some detective fiction, then these two series are for you. Although presented differently, these two series have some tastes of mystery in them. Both series has a cast of characters who are eager to become detectives. Both series has a lot of comedy, drama, and some mystery here and there. Both series also follows an episodic theme.
Hunter x Hunterpermalink
Both main characters have a gift that most people woudn't expect of them. Both characters also appear to most people as weak at first glance. They both also form a little group of friends
Kindaichi Shounen no Jikenbopermalink
These are really fun and amazing detective shows both are somewhat old but it has more originality. Kindaichi Shounen no Jikenbo has serial killers which is personally fun to me and Tantei Gakuen Q is a bit more like a game. These two didn't seem as predictable as other detective shows.
Gosickpermalink
It starts like a mystery-solving episodic story based on deduction where everything ends OK, but as far as the show goes on some mysterious power appear little by little, maybe some secret organization or a person that chases our characters, and is somehow connected with some of the characters' past. Gosick isn't even half-aired yet, though we saw some glimpses of the evil guy, and he seems to be similar to TanteiGakuenQ's
Kamisama no Memochoupermalink
Mystery is the theme in both of these series so for you fans of detective fiction out there, these two anime(s) are definitely something worth checking out. Many of the cases have plot twists that tests the protagonists to various points. And of course, there is drama, comedy, and small hints of affection (not necessary romance although it may be interpreted that way).
Clamp Gakuen Tanteidanpermalink
both plots are based on young (teenage) detectives who solve crimes/mysteries even the police force have problems with (aka they help the police solve mysteries).
Kindaichi Shounen no Jikenbo Movie 1: Operazakan - Aratanaru Satsujinpermalink
A group of young people join the elite Detective Academy and just like Kindaichi help in cases when the police is helpless. The mysteries are really intriguing.
Karakurizoushi Ayatsuri Sakonpermalink
Both animes have lots of mysteries. Also have likeable chracters.
Detective Conan Movie 04: Captured in Her Eyespermalink
The cases in Tantei Gauken Q are rather on the extreme side, where the murder is.. not so much bizare, but they have a level of depth to them. I found the same with this Detective Conan Movie.
Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kaipermalink
I recommend not the whole 'Tantei Gakuen Q' series, but episodes 16-21 - that's another 'kamikakushi' (spirited away) story about an isolated village, including viruses, officers and mysterious murders and disappearences.
Bakugan Battle Brawlerspermalink
the main characters form a team and they are really similar in their personalities!! Ryu--Shun, Kyu--Dan, Megumi--Runo, Kazuma--Marucho. both teams want to become best in their activities (solving criminal cases and card-monster game) and to fight the evil.
